Addicts arises from the need to address a problem that affects us all: to what extent are we subjected by technology? Are we really free? What kind of society have we built? What is the outlook for the nearest future? Do we really deserve the label of "human beings"?

These questions, which are rarely raised on stage today, must be confronted with contemporary audiences. The reality of ADDICTS is that of the progressive expansion of misinformation. A fiction whose characters express concerns that concern us all, questioning paradigms that, until now, we have assumed as valid and true but that may hide lies that are distorting our lives. The transformation of Estela's character becomes a metaphor for the willingness of the human being to change his attitude.
