Antipholus and Dromius of Ephesus (an ancient city of Greece now located in Turkey) live in the city and are mistaken for their Syracusian brethren. Luciana and Adriana, the latter's partner, are the first to confuse their husbands with their brothers. From this point on, mistakes with former debtors, jewels in the wrong hands, unpaid debts, demonize our characters to the point of needing an exorcist. Everything will become more and more tangled, error upon error, until the appearance of a Mother Abbess who is neither a nun nor a virgin. That's when disaster turns into a party...
